My doctor says that my heart will stop long before most because I use it to much. To contrast the ugly diagnosis, she has always been a pool of delicacy. I continued to ask her questions about my strange illness so I could swim a bit longer in her eyes. Eventually she had to leave for her next patient. Walking out of her practice, I wondered how many other patients she was drowning. If it were eyes like those that were going to put me 6 feet under… I’d be ok with that.
