Why do I write so much?

I think I am a better writer than a talker, to be honest. I don’t feel the anxiety of needing a quick response. I can process my spiraling words, pick the most appropriate ones, and dress them up or leave them naked, depending on the circumstances. My brain moves a bit quick and I have a compulsive mouth. Writing zips my lips and slows my mind, which tends to resonate better with other people.

I assume my readers feel a similar comfort, being able to interpret my thoughts at their own pace. They can see my thoughts unfold rather than feel the harsh slap of an undeveloped punchline.
